I’m a British Petrolhead, based in Harrogate in the UK, posting bike and ride reviews following my adventures around Harrogate and North Yorkshire. I have a particular penchant for British bikes both new and old and have long held a torch for Norton and Triumph as well as more conventional Japanese and Italian bikes.
I’m a dad to two fantastic kids and the husband of a long suffering working mum, without whom none of my (ahem) little adventures would be even remotely possible.
I started this site as an outlet for my rapidly growing passion and energy for motorcycles of all shapes and sizes and as a way to share the beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside that I ride in (both powered and unpowered). Having only recently entered the motorcycling fold I’m high on enthusiasm and low on machismo – don’t expect any photos of knee down or power wheely antics from me.
Check out my Instagram feed coolbikesofharrogate if you like really cool pictures of modern and vintage sportsbikes, cafe racers and streetfighters.
Please follow me on Twitter at @CoolBikesofHgte for more cool motorbikes, general banter, fun and friendships.
I hope you enjoy it!
“Dad, how old do I have to be before I can ride your Ducati on the road?”
